About Our Company
Southern Growers Wholesale Nursery & Greenhouses are divisions of a large diversified company called
CCC Associates Company Incorporated, headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama.
CCC Associates began as a simple retail florist in 1950 by James L. Thompson, Sr.
The company built its first greenhouse in 1958 and then expanded to a wholesale container nursery in 1979.
Currently, we have grown to approximately 10 acres of greenhouses and 90 acres of nursery growing fields.
We produce a full line of bedding plants, seasonal color, specialty containers, hanging baskets and holiday crops such as Poinsettias and Hydrangeas in our greenhouses. Our nursery grows container shrubs, groundcovers, perennials, grasses, and trees ranging from 4” up to 45 gallon.
We produce high quality plant material for landscapers, independent garden centers, nurseries, growers, re-wholesalers, and fundraising organizations.
We DO NOT sell to the big box stores or to the general public.
