Dr. Tom Yeager is currently a Horticultural Consultant who provided an unwavering dedication of service for the commercial nursery industry and the county extension faculties, while a Nursery Extension Specialist at University of Florida. He worked cooperatively with county extension faculties providing leadership with identifying programmatic needs, delivering educational programs, and determining impacts for the high-priority extension programs that enhance and protect water quality, quantity, and supply. He received several state and national awards from the nursery industry. He is a Fellow of the Southern Region of International Plant Propagators and received the Wendell E. Butler Award from the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association.
