What You Will Learn:
Pollinator habitats not only provide beautiful color in landscape, but provide a multitude of ecosystem services - clean air and water, fertile soil, flood control, pollination, and biological pest control. Such habitats have become more commonplace along roadsides, in parks, golf courses, and gardens. Dr. Pennisi will share ways to develop pollinator habitats, including bed preparation, seed vs. transplants, species selection, and long-term management.
