What You Will Learn:

Vascular streak dieback (VSD) is an emerging threat to the woody ornamental industry. This session addresses the research updates regarding identification of the causal agent/s of the VSD, fungicide efficacy trials and redbud cultivar screening. Finally, best management practices for VSD will be discussed.

More About the Presenter (s):

Dr. Baysal-Gurel is Interim Associate Dean of Research at College of Agriculture and Associate Professor at Tennessee State University, Otis L. Floyd Nursery Research Center, holding tenured position. The primary research focus of her program is on the development of sustainable, environmental friendly and economical management practices for woody ornamental diseases.
